Hijab Wear: What You Want With Modesty!

An agreed position of many scholars and knowledgeable persons is of the view that hijab wear is the most modest and beautiful form of clothing not only for Muslim women but the woman from every age, culture and religion. The woman is allowed to beautify her body and clothing for her personal satisfaction unless and until it does not cross the limitations set by the religion Islam. In a corrupt society where the men do not want to lower their eye gaze on every woman, she cannot even reveal her face and hands to allow unwanted attention.
The purpose of hijab wear should not be the display but to cover one’s beauty. The hijab fashion is going against this purpose in many non Muslim and Muslim countries however if adopted with due care towards the fabric and design choice, it gives no harm. The transparent materials look beautiful in dressing but do not fulfill the true spirit of hijab. A Muslim girl can easily become a pray of destructive sin when she puts on a garment which reveals her skin and shapes her body features individually.
Being a safeguard against the evil and a source of modesty, the hijab wear should be stitched a bit loose and roomy to allow aeration and coverage. No perfumes and scents are allowed for women while going outdoors. The style and manner must not resemble with the garments of males or many girls are giving the name of hijab to pants, trousers and shirts. While on spiritual journey, covering both the head and body is equally important and this decision calls for much challenges and difficulties from both family and society.
The girl reaching the age of puberty is mature enough to understand her cultural and religious requirements and can opt for hijab wear even before if it pleases her. Her parents can play a key role in introducing her with hijab stages as headscarf, long sleeves, skirts and then the abaya or niqab. The readiness to wear hijab with true purpose and spirit can vary from woman to woman but never let your fashion refrain you from taking its benefits to the full.
The prior steps while opting for a true and modest hijab wear include strengthening of iman, offering prayers with punctuality and remembrance of Allah Almighty. Your enthusiasm for hijab will automatically enhance by making these small moves on the way of Islam.
