This summer, I bought one maxi dress, which ya'll seemed to love at the Expo! And lo and behold the surprised 'really?'s when I said it was from BHS! I can't find it on their site anymore, but it was recently in the sales for around £21.
I haven't had much chance to wear it yet, so I'm going to make it work for the coming months. Before, I wore it with a brown long sleeve top underneath, and as many gold and tribal bangles as I could muster. Maxi dresses with coats are an option you could go for, as I posted previously
here. But when that coat comes off, you'll still need something to cover up underneath! So from now on, I'll pair it with a brown cardi left open, a t-shirt underneath, and a cream hijab - as inspired by the above picture. A bracelet with a hint of blue to complement the blue edging on the dress finishes it off:
