The Fall 2008 RTW collections are just full of hijab-friendly looks! Here's some of the stuff I'm loving for next season...
Maxi coats are back with a vengeance! These a great outdoor alternative to jilbabs, and while this grey Akris number may seem a little dull, I reckon with a patterned Turkish hijab and patent handbag, it could look pretty good. Carlos Miele's maxi skirt and blazer combo is really wearable, and I like the look of pushed-up sleeves with the jumper underneath.

I put together an outfit based on an A. F. Vandervorst look previously, and the satin blouse under a maxi dress look was also seen at Just Cavalli. The rich colours make it really fresh and modern. Alternatively, follow Matthew Williamson's example, and take your Summer maxis into Autumn by wearing a fur-lined jacket on top. Leggings underneath (or even skinny jeans) are brilliant for keeping warm too!
Oscar de La Renta featured chic, timeless looks that I find myself wearing all through the colder months - minus the sunglasses though. Ralph Lauren showcased another classic look with this beautiful purple skirt suit. Swap the beret for a leopard print hijab, or even wear it over a simple black shayla and you're set!
