Bon Magazine is a Swedish publication which created a photo shoot based on the 1975 film
Grey Gardens. You can see the rest of the spread
here (note the hooded top in the last one - it instantly reminded me of
Hanan Turk). Although they might not be hijab-appropriate, the beautiful scarves hark back to an era where covering one's hair was not considered 'oppressive' or 'foreign', but a mark of lady-like grace and elegance:
