Mara Hoffman presented her Fall 2008/2009 collection at
New York Fashion Week on February 2, 2008. Many of her outfits seem to revolve around the idea of a headcovering, the most obvious being the khaki green dress with matching headscarf. My favourite though is the pink and white patterned dress in the 3rd and 4th pictures - with a little tweaking, it would make a great abaya:
