This is a really creative and easy way to wear those hijab styles like the loose one featured in the
Syrian Street Style post. Fadwa has kindly let me post her picture to show you how it's done.
You'll need a slip-on bonnet cap (or the inner part of an Al-Amirah hijab) and a stretch roll-neck top. Simply place the bonnet cap on you head and unroll the neck of the top, and secure them to each other using two straight berry pins on either side. You can add one at the back as well. It's important though to make sure that the neck of your top isn't too long, or it will bunch up around your neck. I love the cute style Fadwa's done here with the mesh hijab. This method allows you to be really flexible, so if you require chest coverage, simply make one end of the hijab longer, and wrap around the front and pin at the shoulder. I much prefer this than wearing Al-Amirahs, because for some reason all the ones I find are far too wide and end up lookng really messy with a shayla on top. I'm still trying to figure out a name for this bonnet cap and roll-neck top style... any suggestions?
