Dubai Fashion Week began a few days ago, and as I mentioned in the
Dubai Style Files, UAE abaya brand
Monyati opened up the show. Designers Huda Ridha and Amna Sultan have combined latest runway trends with unusual cuts such as off-the shoulder styles to create gorgeous abayas, some of which are more like evening dresses. This is what I think sets their abaya brand apart, in that it's more than just a bit beading on the sleeves, which is starting to get repetitive and boring.
