This outfit by Carlos Miele provides great inspiration for a hijab-friendly outfit. The model here wears a long sleeved blazer with the sleeves pushed up. I find this quite annoying though, so I've use a short sleeved black jacket instead, layered over a grey jumper. I also found this unusual tiered skirt from Uttam Direct which I think makes the whole look more suited to daytime, as opposed to eveningwear. Add some high court shoes and a metallic shoulder bag to accessorize:
