I'm not usually a fan of clothing made out of jersey, as most high street versions tend to be far too clingy and tight fitting. But ever since seeing some of
Rabia Z's collections, I've wanted to try out jersey scarves as hijab, as opposed to the cotton and polyester ones that most scarves are made of. I just love the way jersey elegantly drapes and hangs, as well as the fact that the fabric is super-soft and comfortable. For a better idea of what I mean, take a look at this
video interview of Rabia Z where she wears a black jersey scarf.
These are a few I found from online retailers, H&M also do several nice ones. But of course, it's always cheaper to make your own - check out
this guide on how to make your own no-sew jersey scarf. Is this something you'll be trying out?
